sambaXP 2026

Samba eXPerience is the yearly meeting of the Samba team and the ecosystem of developers, users and vendors all around the globe since 2002  – organized by SerNet.

The 25th international conference dedicated to the OpenSource software Samba will take place from April 20th to 21th 2026. Attendees can meet the Samba Team, discuss requirements as well as new features and get updated on current development projects.

Call for Papers and Deadlines

Please note the following deadlines concerning paper submission:

  • September 2025 until Beginning of February 2026: call for paper
  • February 2026: notification of accepted talks & program

Preparations for the Conference in 2026 are under way. SerNet and the SAMBA Team wish to receive submissions of interest and proposals for papers, presentations, and talks about SAMBA and the broader challenges of data management at the sambaXP 2026 conference.

There will be an opportunity for technical talks, user reports, presentations and technical papers. English-language contributions are preferred, but proposals in other languages will also be considered.

A talk should last 45 minutes including discussion.
